Throwing Or Bows???

I'm Planning On Taking My Ranger, Thief, And Ninja Up.They Will All Be Using Ranged Weapons And Subbing Eachother ( W/ The Exception of NIN/WAR). My Ranger Will Use Bows. But Should My Ninja And Thief use Boomerangs??? I See Alot Of Thieves With Them, And It Would Save Me Money. It Would Also Help If I Already Have Throwing Good As A Ninja When I Am THF/NIN., So Should I Do That??? Or Just Stick Them All To Bows And Lose My Money.. Respond Please, THX

You can always use the cheapest arrow when using bow as luring tool, only when you are a ranger, would you need the best ranged gears... remember, no one expect a thief to do 4k damage to the robber crab with his bow, and just pull a near death crab for the team to poke.

I'd say, use throwing weapon when you are leveling Thief or NIN, and bow/gun when leveling RNG. The reason being, as I was told(I have yet to see), NIN is exceptionally good with throwing weapons, they can do very good damage with their shuriken, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to actually level your NIN's throwing skill. Though, not many NIN has enough money to play that trick, as far as I know, but if you can become a throwing NIN, your damage will be as good as a DD, as I was told.

I'm pretty sure Ninja's Throwing Skill is around A-, but don't quote me on it >.>

With Ninja try using some Shuriken once in a while since they do good damage:spin:

Shuriken are currently not cheap enough for DD purposes. Some rich nins use shurikens to gain more hate if they need it, though.

For thief it doesn't really matter, because you'll use ranged for pulling only anyway. Just go for the weapon with good stats. For soloing I'd like to recommend a crossbow. Thf with evasion gear, nin sub and bolts = solo god.
