Chainspell + Stun... wow

I just had my first experience using chainspell stun today in Dynamis Bastok. It is very powerful and better than Invincible and Perfect Dodge vs one monster.

For those of you worried that you might get too much hate... the boss never even glanced at me. The BLMs went all out on the boss, so they got hate but no one got hit. Not sure if this is the same for HNMs though.

I was afraid chainspell would wear off before the boss died, so I waited until it was at about half life before I started it. I ended up having plenty of chainspell time leftover... ^^

Usually, the Boss spams an AoE attack that ends up killing some people. This time, everyone was at full HP by the time it was dead. :sweat:

There's a certain method to doing it too... Stunning too fast gets a no effect message along with wasted MP.

I'm looking forward to using it vs Fenrir and HNMs! :biggrin:

Do you get resisted much or at all? I was planning on getting dark up to 37 for that if being able to stun would be worth more than say, subbing smn for blink

I use a Thunder Staff and Dark Torque and I have yet to be resisted.

Dynamis enemies don't resist too much in my experience.

And yes, Chainspell + Stun is awsome :cool:
