Shaman Cloak and AF

I just got the Shaman Cloak thanks to a really nice jp player but some people in my ls say that the cloak should hold me over untll I get my black cloak. Im just wandering what are other ppls thoughts about the Shamans Cloak compared to the Petasos and the Coat. Thanks in advance ^^

I have my AF armor already and absolutely love it. I plan to run with my AF til I get the Errant line of armor.

Shaman's Cloak pretty much just good for casting Elemental type spells. After you get Black Cloak you pretty much won't use this any more. I suggest using your AF body and head when casting enfeebling spells. You also want to be careful when MBing with Shaman's Cloak because it doesn't have any Enmity - :sweat:

so I should still go out and get the body and the hat. My ls might not be too moving to that :S. cuz atm they think that it I dont need my af body cuz of it now. ; ;

i got shaman's cloak recently too and its hideous, only good till level 60, AF hat is too uber to be wasted untill demons/black cloak

moldavite i shoulda of camped that instead of centurio

They're both good, you should have both at your disposal for nuke and enfeebles depending on the situation.

Like TheGod said though, if it came down to Shaman's or Moldavite, Moldavite wins hands down.

PLD Tank? Use Shaman's cloak, it gives your spells a better chance of going unresisted. It gives the stats of the AF Hat
- the Lightning resist and Enmit, so you miss out on a lil MP enmity VIT and Enfeebling. But A) You shouldnt be tank B) As a Taru I never had MP problems, C) Shouldnt the RDM be doing enfeebles? I used it till I got my Black Cloak. At 72 Errant is kinda nice, gives 1 more MP a tick while resting then Black Cloak. Igqira is definetely worth investing in at 73 though :). I never got it cuz I thought it looked stupid on taru, but I got it, like the effects, and like how it looks. But anyways my suggestion would be to use AF if your gonna be bursting a huge Ga spell, or have a shitty NIN Tank with no THF or something, but Shaman's Cloak if you have a good tank.

I still use Shamans Cloak at 61. I also have all my AF. Shamans is much better. I switch to my AF for enfeeble, or right after bursting with my Shamans. I have my equip change macros, so it takes not even a second to switch from Shamans to full AF. I also have Moldavites, so I can't say which I like more.
