mithra job help

i got really sick of my old char and decided to start over and i did happen to pick mithra so i need a job that deals decent damage and can solo for a while i was leaning towards thf

99% of people will tell you thief.

But let me tell you to keep in mind: Mithra can do any of the jobs you mentioned above.

So choose a job that you will enjoy. The options are all open.

i'm biased against THF, so i'd say any job except THF ^_^;;
but if you want something that can solo the longest, MNK and RDM are your choices. as for "deals decent damage" that can be all of the starting jobs except WHM, and even WHM has that capability somewhat.

Having played all those jobs...I'd recommend Warrior. While my main is MNK and I love it to bits, most people do not realize the power of MNK. So I often find myself party-less. Plus if you're WAR...you can get the whole sub-tank type of deal, which tends to make invites come a tad faster.

Mithra does naturally benefit thief job, so that is why most people would suggest thief without a 2nd thought.

But, being the 2nd most balanced race, mithra can just be anything.

I personally would pick a melee, 1st, I am more a melee person than a mage person, 2nd, mithra's natural high dex/agi benefit any melee ^^;

For 'decent damage', BLM, but for 'decent damage and soloable', WAR or MNK, beware that as WAR, you would be demanded as tanker sometimes... so if you just don't want to tank, then pick MNK for the damage. However, you can always plan ahead, and choose an advanced job(it won't take that long to get lv30 =p), if there is any interesting advanced job for you~ (just opening more options for you).

Mithras play great Redmages.

Redmages can solo plenty of things...all the time.(including sea horror end game)

And 41+ if your not anon you have billions of invites.
