Something up with the BLM AF2 Water Elemental?

I spent 6 hours Saturday, 5 on Sunday, and 5 tonight in CN waiting for this elemental to pop so I could get the bag of seeds I need to continue with the AF2 quest. Absolutely nothing has popped in those hours that I've been there and I'm starting to doubt that it ever will. Is this just insanely bad luck or what? The forecast for Rolanberry is constantly sunny, sunny, sunny. :(

It took a while for me too. I just hung out in the Nest and called in reinforcements once the weather starts. Good news is that if you wait till lvl 59 or 60 you'll probably be able to solo the elemental...

Chances are that it's summer in the game. Wait till spring or winter. (Duh)

It's possible to solo it at 52, it just takes a while.....

I made the mistake of getting to CN on darksday, and it didnt rain untill water's day, but the fact is it rains 4 times on waters day, and four elementals pop in the exoray room in front of the secret room.

I solo-ed an elemental, not by choice (4 of us needed seeds so we separated and looked but i killed one before anyone got there to help.

The drop is 100% i wouldnt call in any favors to get that part done, as you willd efinately need those favors to get to the keep for the second part of the quest, just opening the door IMO takes a party that can kill the four gobs with likely chance of link, or a high level BLM or plly to sleep/kill em easily.

just because its watersday doesnt mean it will rain there. I spent all of tuesday night, all of wensday and thursday waiting on that damn element and it never spawned. only element to show was a fire.

I really think this is a pain oin the assfor BLM .

Nah, just invis to the gate, vis, open and pass through, invis again to the ore door, vis and open it. Gobs are sight and easily to sneak by when they aren't looking.
