Is the Heko Obi +1's 8% spell interruption rate decrease worth it?

In XP PT, not really. Go with Warrior Belt +1/ Lifebelt / RSE belt.
You can even cast cureIV easily without being interrupted, 99% of the time the trick is to start casting just as the mob attack goes off.

you'd pretty much be using the heko obi +1 a whole seven levels (two of which you should be soloing anyway, since you have no way to spike hate towards yourself), because, honestly, at 15, a warrior's belt+1 is the ideal choice of waist equip for a loooooooong time, i still have my original warrior's belt+1 from when i purchased it way back in december, then again, it got a lot of use... and still does, on war and mnk (macro'd for better chakra).

so, back on topic, if you have the gil laying around and already have a warbelt+1 and two stamina rings waiting, go ahead and pick it up for giggles

Give it a shot if you can afford it. All you need to do is to add it into your healing macro and add a change equip back to your other belt.
