where to get phalanx and dispel?

Hey guys. I was wondering if I should save up 70k for dispel or bcnm? Also, are there any other ways to get these two other than bcnm's? If not, what are the easiest bcnm's for rdm? Thanks :)

heh tough luck on dispel. dispel is sold by a npc vendor so the prices will never fall lower than the npc price which is about 70k. so the prices are always about 70k. as for phalanx i bought mine by luck. i got it for 100k (all my life's savings) :spin: . but u can get it at a level 40 bcnm battle. and i would say to get dispel first because its a party beneficial spell. you rarely use phalanx in exp parties and it costs a ton.

Thanks for the response. It looks like it's time to start saving up! lol. I definitely want dispel very soon.. so maybe I'll go hardcore and just farm until I get like 80k. It's gonna be so depressing spending the 70k on 1 spell. lol.

cost of whm spells

raise 2 150-200k
raise 3 150-200k

when it comes to spells, it costs more being a whm and blm than it does being an rdm.

I got dispel yesterday, but haven't found a use for it just yet. :( I'm in Altepa fighting beetles now, and I guess they don't really get buffs, just enfeeble it's opponents (evasion down). When do I use this spell? Just whenever the mob does something like warcry or stoneskin?

beetles use buffs, they often use shell or DEF buff that RDM must dispel.. however they do it durring the fight sometimes, most of the time you dont have to dispel them at the beginning before the melee gets to them.

Hey Will, On Beetles, Use Dispel When They Use "Rhino Guard" which is evasion boost. later on in CN use it after the crawers use Cocoon.
