Vermillion Cloak?

Hi all,
I just got 59 today and now debating on getting VC. In Xp pts I will put it on only when i'm not casting or between pulls. And I think thats like 10-20% of the time. Is it really worth the 3million?
Please give me some opinions; ;

IMO, no. I won't be buying this.

Between convert, refresh, +mp regen food, and my dark staff, I have all the +MP regen/refresh items I intend to get. 3 mil for another +1mp/tick is too excessive for me.

I have one for my SMN, on RDM I don't put it on often. The only time I've found it useful in fights on RDM is when I'm healing non-stop.

I agree with Jinjo here... i was planning on buying one for myself until I realized just how much my AF helps me in pt... the only time it seems it would be useful is when I am main healer... but for 3mil+ it will have to wait considering it will only be used under certain circumstances.

Spend the gil on a Communion earring. VC really doesn't benefit us enough to be worth the huge price (unless you have millions of gil just sitting around).

It's definitely not needed for RDM. I have one, and I do use it in between pulls in exp parties, but mostly I find it helpful for soloing/adventuring. The other day I was fighting a group of onions for a quest and refresh wore while I was at 37 MP (hooray for being elvaan!) and having VC on is what kept me going.

I honestly think that unless you are main healer, V Cloak hurts you more than helps you as RDM unless you macro on the perfect gear for each cast, but we only have 6 lines to work with per macro...

I'd rather land my debuff the first time than to recover the mp I'm wasting from having to recast all the time.

Well I was never fond of that cloak anyway. I see it as a waste of gil for BLM's as well as RDM's. And for those that said get it for main healing RDM's, my bro is a RDM and has been main healer bout 80% of his lvling and not once did he ever have a problem with MP's, just recently at lvl63 he was main healer and still was doing great.

Friend let me use his the other day for a coffer party, and while auto refresh was nice, giving up the Tabard and Chapeau just isn't worth it, and the fact that it looked hideous on me. :dead:
