Hi, I am an Elvaan Red Mage, and I was wondering should I wear my RSE till i get my AF or is there anything in between that's good for me. Thanks !!

Elvaan RSE is very good for mages, especially the Hands and Boots. The body piece is nothing special, so you can upgrade that shortly after getting it, but keep the Gloves and boots even after you get AF as they have more MP than AF does. (er, I think... it's been a while since I checked)

For body, you'll probably want a Brigandine armor at lvl 45, and a Tactician Magicians Coat at 50, then upgrade to Warlocks Tabard at level 58 (the most important AF because of Enfeebling skill +15)

Even when you get AF, you'll want to wear your RSE gloves and boots in exp parties. Trade your RSE pants in for some Magic Cuisses (INT+3, MND+3, lvl 48) and go with Brigandine > Tac. Mag. Coat > AF. (If you want to look pretty, go with earth/gaia doublet instead of the mag. coat -- mag. coat looks TERRIBLE on elvaan.)
