Question about Penta Thrust

This is from both myself and a fellow LS mate. Does anyone know what its damage/% of hits are based on? I would figure Acc. and Attack but ive seen DRGs with optimum gear for that lvl hit all 5 strikes and hit0 of the strikes. My question is, is the damage confirmed to be acc/dex based or is the damage random?

If I'm guessing correctly, there is a base amount of damage per penta hit.

Then this base damage is modified by your STR. 30% of your STR is added on to the base damage of one penta hit. Then the DEX mod is added to find out if it is a criticle strike or not, which would increase the damage more. Finally the TP multiplier is added to this tally for the penta hit.

Thats how i imagine it to work, but I think the base penta hit damage is random.

Actually that just means 30% of your str and 30% of your dex is added to the base damage.
