Right now I have Qwest DSL, I have an internal modem for my comp. connected to the phone jack providing the internet connection. Is there any way to hook a router to the internal modem and then to the ps2? The modem has 2 jacks in the back, both for a simple phone line (one goes to the phone, the other goes to the wall jack). Or can I just get an external DSL modem and go Phone Jack->DSL modem->ps2? The HDD in my ps2 has a network cable jack, so do I connect the phone jack to the DSL modem with a regular phone line, and the DSL modem to the ps2 with a network cable?:confused:

You'll need an external DSL modem. Whether you'll need a router or a hub is a question for your ISP. If they let you have more than one IP address at a time, you just need a hub. If you only get one IP address, you'll need a router. The setup is as follows:

Wall Jack --> DSL Modem --> Router/Hub --> Computer/PS2

The router or the hub will have multiple outputs, so both the computer and the PS2 will be connected at the same time.
