theres a rumor that only 5 have been sold on all 30+ servers.


none appear on any AH on titan including jeuno, so no one on my entire server has one..

good luck getting one.

oh and to answer your question...oh yeah casting spells 5% faster is worth it to my blm.

the 5% hasnt been confirmed, but its what everyone says from mystery tour, allakhazam, the VN boards, and in game.

6 on pande huh? thats wierd, they had a big debate about this on the VN boards, and how no1 knew what the going price would be because the mantle hadn't even been sold on majority of the servers.....


...but that was almost a week ago, so who knows.

This'd be an awesome piece of equipment for soloing.

I can't think of much use for Fast Cast inside a party though.

what i'm wondering is if the cure clogs, warlock mantle, and rdm's fast cast all stack together. if warlock's mantle is indeed 5%, and /rdm gets fast cast II (i think?) with cure clogs, that would theoretically be a 30% reduction in cure spells :eek:

I don't know what jobs Cure Clogs are, I thought they were WHM-onry but if it's not, anyone wanna find someone that can perform this thing?

Alright i asked my friend tonight about the mantle. He bought it onAH for 600k, he did lots of testing with both blm/rdm and rdm main, but he did not notice a diference in either speeds of casting. So he sold it to someone else for 600k and that was that :spin:

i couldnt find this mantle on titan, so i figured it hadn't been sold..

i checked last night and 7 have sold all for around 100k !!!!

yes 100k, i bought one after spending an hour in jeuno shouting every now and again...

The difference isnt noticable, its on theAh block now rdy to be sold.

With Fast Cast II at lvl 70 you'd have -15% (I think) to cast time with this on. Also affects recast timers (ex: Aspir, Drain). I don't think I'd miss 3 INT to get that.

Hmm. Well... AF1 Hat (Fast Cast) and AF2 Body (Fast Cast) stack. The speed is very fast. I competed with myself (RDM with AF1 hat) vs same level RDM with AF1 Hat & AF2 Body and she beat me everytime on all spellcasts. So I don't see why Warlock Mantle wouldn't stack with the Fast Cast from RDM subjob.

I was with a lvl 75BLM/37RDM the other day and we (I was a 70BLM/35RDM at that time) were testing out fast casts and what not. I noticed that he casted spells faster than me (my blinks/stoneskins were slower, etc etc.), he wasn't wearing any fast cast boosting equip either.

Anyone know why? :confused:
