low lvl blm mage accessories and newb questions

hi i just finally got this game two days ago and i am a lvl 6 blm mage. i would like to know what type of equipment i should be wearing before i get real good equipment at level 30. im mostly interested in what type of rings/neck/earrings i should have. and also.. when should i start grouping? i grouped once when i was lvl 4 to get to five, and have been soloing now. ive been visiting this site for months before actually getting the game, thats how excited i was about it and i know there are alot of experienced black mages here. i also know that we all started at lvl one, and just would like some suggestions on what would help me become a better black mage as i level up towards the upper tiers.
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Here's something very basic.

For parties

+int and + mp items until +elemental or + magic atk bonus come available.

wands are types of clubs that give +Int and +Mnd. You want them for the +Int

lvl 10
2 Ermite rings +2 int each
Royal footman's tunic +1 int
(+5 int total)

lvl 20
Black silk Neckerchief + 1 int
(Only because this is best neckpiece for 45 levels until Elemental torque)
(+6 int total.. maybe +9 if you get best wand)

Lvl 29
Seer's
+2 int crown or +3 int crown
Body +1 mp regen while resting
+1 int legs
+1 int gloves or +2 int gloves
and some + mp

Lvl 32
Solid wand (+ 5 int)
Black cape (+2 int)

I have +18 int at level 38 blm... The only high quality equipment is the Solid wand and my +3 int Seer's Crown+1

Upgraded to the better crown since it dropped to 20k. (reasonable for me). If I wanted to make Blm my main I would probably get the Morion earrings and tathlum eventually.. but they are last on my list of things to spend 260k on..

yeah i agree with those....there is also a hermits ring at level 1 that gives +1 int, you could pick up a couple of those, +2 int doesnt seem like a lot, but at level 5, it will be noticable.

That tunic can last you untill seer's, i switched at level 20 for mage's tunic, but 20k is hard to come by when your new.

I'm level 41 BLM and i have +26 int w/o food.

blk cape+1 seers crown and mitts+1 dual morions dual wisdom rings druid's rope black silk neck tie solid wand and morion tat.

umm the above poster has decent gear, and my gear is uber....

after the level 15 gear (with the exception of the seer's tunic) i'd ignore all this fancy gear and make sure you have every last spell for your level.....blm can do BCNM 30, and you could make alot of gil IF you stay current on your spells.

example, i was level 38, and i didnt have fire2 on me, i was out nuking the other blk by an average of 14 points per spell, and i got resisted half as much as he did, but he did more damage occasionally because his fire 2 would hit for more then any non aoe spell i had.
