Linkpearl or not?

i have a thing i bought from someone and it looks like a linkpearl and i cant make a link shell when i go to linkshell menu it says i have no linkshell items in inventory what should i do or were can i buy a linkpearl?

Linkpearl(LP) is ex-clusive item, you cannot have bought that off someone... Same goes for an unopened Linkshell(LS)...

I don't know who you bought it from.. but if you want an unopened LS, you should buy from NPC. I only remember the one by weapon/armor shop of Port Windurst ^^;;;

EDIT: I read your other post ^^;; I think you bought the material Pearl, which is used in various crafting...

EDIT again: If you want to open a new LS with yourself leader, you need to buy an unopened LS from any NPC(I hope someone on the board will help with their locations). Or alternatively, if you only want to join a LS, you can wait for shout in towns, and ask the leader for a LP, providing you meet their requirements ^^;;

no link pearls are not ex...they can be traded...

They can only be traded to from a Pearlsack holder of the Linkshell the pearl is apart of.

Also, technically you could have bought one.. Even though I don't think this is the case. If the pearlsackholder asked for money before he OK'ed the trade of the pearl. ^^;
