Coming back to FFXI, have a few questions

Last time i played FFXI was about 7-8 months ago. I had a level 65 Ranger but now its all gone.

I kinda miss the game so im going to start over as a level 1. Oh well anyways i have a few questions.

I know there are a couple of new servers, how are they for low level players? Is the economy really jacked up, also which servers are considered to be the best right now?


Also in Chains expansion a MUST oryou can enjoy the game without it?


Are there any cheats for this game? I remember long time ago i really liked this game since there was no cheating, has this changed?

Anybody here quitting who can outfit me on my new journey

I can't say I know about the new servers, there is still very very minimal cheating, from what I know anyways. I would say at the moment Ragnarok and Midgardsomr are around the most popular servers. The economy's have basically stayed the same some stuff goes up some goes down, all too expensive imo anyway. Actually I like my server, nice amount of people, not too laggy or too hard to find a party, if you have an interest I MIGHT be able to get you a World Pass.

Aria is still around. He's leading Precedence (sp) now, a HNM LS. Asura's economy has stablized nicely for a while. However, the hordes of gil farmers and ppl camping valuable NM's have driven the price up on several items (i.e. Archer Ring).

The 2 new servers go up today. Remora and Hades (you can read about it on the POL site). No one knows how it's gonna be yet, but that's part of the excitement.

Ah sweet, Damn Aria a leader? Congrads to him, i remember we had a static party and used to level up every night. Hopefully ill try to get on Asura gotta get this registration code issue straighten out.
