The Legend of the Dragoon, very good game, very long one too O.o;; but to be honest I dont think Drgs need wings >.> though I wouldnt mind the wind dragoons armour :)

All the armors were the same sept for their color :P. I always wondered why Dragon Knights have high aptitude for slaying Dragons. Dark Knights in general usually combat Light Knights. Dragons need some kinda opposing enemy like.. Dogs or something to combat with. Legend of Dragoon was a sweet PS1 game about people that aquired special powers linked to different elemental dragons (Fire, Light, Wind, etc.) If anything from that game could influence something on FFXI, I would want the 2hrs to be the transformations for 5 minutes that gave you access to their special attacks or suped up physical attacks.

I really don't want wings. Bad enough that when people try and target monsters they lock on to poor Azure, I can imagine the hate that would come from people not being able to see around my wings.

Plus, I am already a guy playing a mithra who is running around in purple armor with my butt hanging out of my chaps. Adding wings would really compound things ;)

I like DRG AF. It plays well into the bond between dragoon and wyvern. Wyvern ACC, regen and improved breath effects (can't wait for my helm when I sub RDM solo) are good enough for me :)

So the only difference in the armors is color and compensation for those of us who have boobies :P. I like the Drg AF, but I think my 2hr idea could have potential if Squenix somehow thought up the exact same thing and tested it out. Even though you might feel too pretty with wings, I think they'd be a neat embodiment of Drg spirit. Warriors get their crazy multitiude of weapon use even though they concentrate on axes, Paladins get their shiny white armor, Drks get their brooding scythe and black armor and Drg's get armor that isn't even the same color as their wyvern or have any like..Dragoonistic details. Mebbe the ear points of the helmet, but that's picky.

Yeah, I really hated that my butt was like hanging out there in regular AF. Really glad AF2 brais are full pants on female models. ^^;

Anywho, if you want some wings go get a stack of papillions and macro them with everything. :x

I thought the helm was okie, until I saw up close the sides of it are purple leather. It's like a bike helmet with wings and a a chinstrap with little piece of leather hanging around your head. Really just ruins the plate look that you finally get after wearing cloth/leather/scale for 60 levels.

I like the idea of being able to use multielemental wyverns though. 5 minute timer seems to be too much. 2 Hour could be like wyvern-steroids. Along with the 2hour, maybe every 20 minutes you could get an Elemental wyvern (6 elements, 120 minutes in 2 hours)
