meh =X even with that eq his life is too low.. and for hnm's, what plays a very very big part is the maximum life. And it's mp for hate is kinda pointless in hnm's (of course needs it for lil hate and flash -_-; but he get heal spammed by healers with his low life, hard to cure self as a taru when get hit for big aka laggy crits etc..; ; ). It is really a waste ; ;

If that guy's ls own the server (abjs. goes to waste anyone?) then i guess why not make him tank for fun << like some does for their blm/nin or a nin tank f/n-drg, kirin, kb, byako and whatever i forget.

Bah our taru pld in almost full koenig(go go Hammy!) puts it to damn good use. He's kited Kirin without dying once in the past and can tank any HNM you throw his way. So hell no it's not a waste, only a jealous ignorant lamer would say that.

i don't know why HNM LSs from Ragnarok can't just give credit where it's due. instead, they just put others down. Hammy worked his butt off for the past year to make his character what it is now along with having several jobs in full AF he deserves a congrats.

Hamasaki tanks gods in sky for us - as long as the whm don't fall asleep at the wheel it really makes no difference... he tanks Fafnir for us too.

In the majority of cases where the tank goes down it's a bad combo of attacks from the mob (our Galka pld goes down sometimes too)... I would have to say overall it matters more who and how they play it than race if they have great equips (taru are slightly more fragile but can hold hate better with all that MP... Galka will survive once in a blue moon in a situation that would take out the taru pld).

Really the important thing is not making annoying macros when you tank -.-

I do believe that jealousy has lead some of our members to unnecessary outbursts on the forums. We've worked just as hard as any other LS on other servers and have unable to come up with as much reward to show for it, but it's understandable that different servers have different levels of competition and it is indeed completely unnecessary to come onto the forums and put people down for it. For this, I apologize on behalf of my members.

You must be crazy.....Phoenix have about 8 JPHNMLS and 3 NAHNMLS.that PLD Arling is in PhoenixWingFreedom(best JPHNMLS on Phoenix).they win about 90% of the faf/nidh pull.every PLD in PWF have keonig body/crimson body.Berger their second taru PLD have full koenig armor.on a faf/nidh window u have about 50+ pplz from all different LS camping that shit.your Server is not that bad trust me.....

The reason why we took months has nothing to do with competition. The ability to organise LS members from all over the world aint easy.

Look, my LS has never compare our success/ defeats with others across the server, let alone ur LS. We never cry over the massive JP competition, we welcome it cos it makes us stronger and we have gotten used to it. If GO is successful, and pple in GO ls enjoys the HNM hunting, good. Note: having the best equips means nothing. It is the enjoyment and challenges that matters. Weigh this stuff ursself. Thx

Uh, since when have NA LS's raped more game content than us? We were wearing 2+ suits of AF and maxed rank/level before you guys started jerkin off to the FFXI live cam months before the game even came out. Not 1 NA LS (a real one) has ever exceeded us.

As you know Kirin is easy Bruce. It doesn't take much skill all you need is #s. I think every single HNM ls that has ever tried to kill Kirin have succeeded. I guess maybe we take quality over quantity which delayed us being the first Non-JP HNM ls to kill Kirin? I guess so. Our LS use to have like 20 dedicated members who hunted all the time not 70+ trash that we shouted for in Jeuno so that's the main reason we didn't go rush and kill it.

I see where you're coming from though Bruce. Some NA HNM Ls have raped more HNMs than us (and succeeded us...) because you know why? Like I said above. Shit just sits around waiting for people to kill it or the only competitions you have are people who have the same latency as you. (Non JPs) I live in a College dorm and I knew MANY MANY MANY friends from high school who weren't on my Server. They all said they SAME THING, everything just sits around and/or people in Jeuno shout to get members to kill stuff like Nidhogg or the only comp is a few NA HNM ls.

No offense but your LS wouldn't have lasted a week on our server unless it was one of those Tulia Onry ones. When we camp Nidhogg (shit any good HNM) we have 5+ JP HNM ls with 18+ people at a perfectly good 4am JP weekday morning. When most other Servers camp it's either just sitting there or there's minimal/non JP comp or again you have mass comp but all same latency as you. (NAs)

You get Nidhogg and win Koenigs and Adamans and go post all over the forums showing off how uber your LS and show everyone else you're better them then when we watch our Nidhoff pop purple (even on ps2s) 99% of the time and sulk about it. You and I should know better than most people. HNMLS success/armors/ect. don't depend on numbers, loyalty, skill, playtime, encouragment, ect. It all depends on who can win the pull then you can worry about all that other shit after. Doesn't matter if have 100+ members who are importers and can pwn you in every other way possible, if you can't win pulls you ain't gonna get shit. I honestly believe that the more armors your LS has is only because your LS can win pulls (No JP comp, NA comp, ect.) and not how much (again, #s, skill, playtime, ect.) you have cause that's the case how it is in our server defiently.

Do you honestly believe if your competition EVERY single day were 50+ JPs that could pwn your pull every time you guys would have killed Kirin and Byakko and all your other fantasy HNMs when you originally intended to? When I saw your pic of the first Kirin kill you guys were already wearing more HNM armor than the BEST JP HNM ls on our server whos been hunting HNMs for about 2 years longer than you have. From there I already knew your /lsmes was something like: The Bruce: Today we're going to kill Nidhogg at 5pm then take a dinner break and go kill Aspi at 8. They were scouted this morning at noon.

I don't mean to put GO members down or anything. If anything I'm just highly influenced and envy what you all have accomplished but again when people like Bruce here says like "oh you guys just suck cause we have more HNM armor than you cause we're uber because us NAs beat you importers" is just gay. Seems like every time someone posts about servers not having real competition people get really sensitive about it. I guess maybe that little thread of reality is what holds your egos together cause you know if I wasn't lying you wouldn't have even close to what you're obtained even to this day.

Again keep up the good work and be happy you don't have all these non life loser JPs stealing all your fun time.

Actually we killed kirin god knows how long ago, but we just don't bother posting screenshots and links to our website for every monster we kill ;3

Yes. I indeed love it when my LS will hunt turtle in valley all week, 5 days of adamantoise and JPs are busy with the other crap because this was after a reset so times are still relatively close together for most of the big stuff. Then on the day aspido pops theres 3 JP LS and 2 NA LS there fighting for claim, and we were the only ones that were killing the turtle until then. Haven't bothered hunting turtle since =)

Haijins suck, you're lucky that you don't have to deal with it as much as Ragnarok or Levi or whatever else. It doesn't matter how skilled you or your LS is, if you have a lot of competition you will get less hnm armor. It's common sense.

Nearly every post I have read from a member of AA usually consists of some comments about how hard it is on Ragnarok and how everyone else must be so much worse because they don't have to deal with the exact same situation AA does. Then when someone from another server is offended and responds an AA member responds with something like "I don't mean to put <insert LS name here> members down or anything" and proceeds to reiterate why that LS is so inferior to AA. These threads are useless. If you make such posts you should not be surprised when someone like Bruce takes offence and talks some smack to you.

I don't presume to know what life is like on Ragnarok. You make it sound difficult so I'll believe you. Midgard or any other server may be different but that doesn't mean that it is not also difficult for the same or different reasons.

You assume much about the skill level and size of other successful linkshells. Your assumptions about GO are inaccurate and unfair.

Achieving success as an HNM LS in FFXI is very difficult and I respect any LS on any server that is successful. I do not appreciate being referred to as 70+ trash or as a player who has had everything handed to me. Anyone who gets anything good in this game works hard for it.

Life in Ragnarok may suck but it isn't necessary to make derogatory comments about players you don't know on non-Ragnarok servers every time you feel like venting about your situation.

Many of the people I know in there are from all over the world, unlike a NA LS where all of you are most likely in the same timezone or close anyway. So I applaud AA for that especially.
