Goldsmith related questions

I´m a intressted crafter that has set my heart on goldsmithing.
I have some questions realated to Goldsmithing that I really appriciate if I can get them answeard :)

1. Ingots appears in both Goldsmithing as in Blacksmithing. If I
Synth an ingot, do I get skill in my main guild or in both guilds?

2. What´s the best way to save money while you craft?
I mean what is the least expensive way to skill up.
(recepies that is cheaper and give the same skill is most appriciated)

3. As a goldsmith is there another guild that is important to have
as a sub guild (support guild)?

4. Should I mine my ore? Or is there a faster way? like farm gil and then buy it myslef in store/bazaar/AH.
I´m 50PLD/25WAR so you know if im suitiable for that kind of gil making?

5. I´ve heard that you can make gil at very low skill and i thought
this can be one of the incomes I can use. But what recepies is that?

6. The last but not least question is. If anybody have any guids about goldsmithing?

1. No, you'll only get skills for goldsmithing. Copper is the only that is in smithing but it is actually goldsmithing.

2. Take material prices, compare to AH prices, craft according to your server's AH.

3. Most recipes take just goldsmithing alone, a few armor types take leather.

4. However you can make money the fastest just stick to that.

5. Silver Ingots are can usually net a small profit.
