I wanted to raise one of these two crafting skill.
I have skilled Clothcraft to 6 and Cooking to 14.
The cooking is easy to skill, but the clothcraft it is more amusing but more expensive.
To which advised me?

I would say it depends on a few things:
Do you have the ability to bazaar overnight/at school/work almost every single day? This is a key part of cooking.
For clothcraft, you probably would need better researching skills. Analyzing each recipe to determine, based on your server, whether you should be using it for skill or profit.
Cooking profit items aren't hard to spot - they're the foods people use, the strategy you need to use is to create bulk quantities, and thus, bulk HQ quantities of these foods for overnight bazaars.
in my static party there is a lv60ish or so clother. and im a lv81.9 chef.
the party uses me a whole lot more, and i save us all tons of money due. 3 of the guys pool money together for meat's. they easily save 1k+ off each stack and more off HQ stacks. Mage uses pumpkin pies, which only cost me ~3k to make saving him 2k each stack.
if your in it for major $$$ and bling-bling then cooking isnt gunna do that.. lol
Clothcraft and any other similar craft (smithing/bone/ect) have expensive 1 slot items.

I suggest raising cooking first. Profit made by cooking can then be put into other crafts such as clothcraft.
Also, cooking is easier because most synths don't require a subcraft. Right now I find myself limited in clothcraft because my subcrafts aren't up to par.

Thanks for the help :)
The better way is skill cooking first and then clothcraft.
Thanks at all :)

I use both, but cooking does become very useful, and seems to be a bit cheaper...

I waited till I had RDM at 55 before I even thought about doing a craft, mostly Clothcraft,I didnt wanna waste gil on craft items when i can just get on my RDM and go out and kill the thing that drops the required items on the plus i have a THF friend that will go out and help me farm with TH2 so when i get higher in the craft i can go kill spiders and make rainbow thread rather then spend huge amouts of gil on them only to have the synth fail,it might be just me but i find it more profitable this way.
