Gill in fishing.?

Ok.. HOw do you make the real gill in fishing?
catching beams? legendary fish? someone plz tell me.... i gotta know if i really wana take this all the way

Well don't expect to get that great of gil at fishing when your at 0 for your skill level. But as a starter I'd get a Sabiki Rig and a Mithran fishing rod, until atleast lvl 10.

Depends on what you're after, I suppose. It's possible to make around 40K per hour spent fishing at level 100 pre-Chains of Promathia, with occasional niche markets that can make you more than that.

With the expansion... who knows? Far too early to tell.

Just for reference, at level 70 fishing, I make roughly 30-35K per hour fishing in Sea Serpent Grotto (but requires high fishing, a level 59+ job, a Lu Shang's Fishing Rod, and the ability to cast Sneak).
