Warrior AF1.....1h axe?

This has been bugging me for a while, everyone knows Gaxe > Axe pre 50, but SE decided to give us our AF1 weapon an axe, and the Relic axe only bst can use @_@

so really the only point of doing the AF1 quest is to get the other AF quests, because the weapon will do us **** unless we dual wield right? but Dual wield is slower pre 50 and I dont have a viking axe yet and at that level i'll have two....

Nah, you're looking at axe as being worthless without /nin, and it's not. I've seen war/mnk do just fine with axe/shield, even though it's not what I would call "heavy" damage. Besides, dual wield is only 5% faster at 50 than before I believe.

If you just straight up don't like axes, then yeah, this is only good for getting to the other AF's. At least yours is actually useful for a few levels though. :D I do think they're relic setup is rather odd though, making the 1h axe bst only.

And don't forget that we can use Relic Gsword but not Sickle Moon and Spinning Slash. >_> Retarded I would say.

I think its retarded WAR can use the Relic GS...and the Relic Axe is BST only? That's pretty stupid. A WAR who uses Axe to 75 can't even use the relic weapon? If a job has its highest rating with a weapon, it should be able to use the relic.

It's good to show off with, and the stat bonus are good too. One would argue that CC's axe is better, but if one needs Dex, then one could argue that the Razor axe is better.

If you're War/Nin you could just use CC's axe and scimitar for a good boost.

I'm a war/thf myself. mainly because I thought war/nin was only good until 50. I only have my ninja at 15(with utsu) and war is 35 right now, once I reach 50(maybe 40) I will need to level nin again ; ;

War/Nin don't get much respect as damage dealers, they just aren't seen as the type. War/Thf are well known in that department primarily because they're subbing thief for the obvious sneak attack.

I'd stick with /thf.
