Another serious problem

Ohhhh boy... WHAT NOW!?

I was just standing there talking to someone in the game.

All of the sudden, I get a black screen, and then it goes back to POL. I can't reconnect.

I'm getting POL error 0011 (if I remember). I don't know what to do... it's kind of scary... I hope my character information isn't lost or something REALLY dreadful like that.

EDIT: OK... It seems that they're doing maint. right now? But if that's so... I've heard that you lose your character information if you're playing when maint. begins... which I was. I hope this is not true. Can someone varify?

And is it even maint. ?!

im sure you character wont be deleted, maybe set back like 10minutes or something... from the last save, whenever that was.

it just a usual connection error, i believe. Epscially when you use certain cable connection, you wil be d/c most of the time (have this type of experience before)

I used to get disconnected a lot, but i fixed my problem with a.......
BACKUP CONNECTION!!! I use my DSL but also connect with 56K, so when one goes the other takes over until the other goes back up!

Thats a good idea Cecil, but I threw my 56k away a LONG time ago..... :rolleyes:
