They go for 2k and over, but I get so damn many for free, its relatively easy to get em.

I mean, I just got BLM to 15 last night, and i am RELIEVED that I dont have to go to the dunes again until I wanna level Ninja. Around Christmas, I'm gonna get WHM, NIN, BLM, WAR, DRK (if i have it) and RNG to 20, at least.

Hell, I might start maining BLM, if it wasnt so boring.... All I do each fight is out damage everyone else....

BTW Wish, did you know a FR LS ( Osiris - did I spell this right? )was the first LS to take down Kirin? So not all FR are bad. In fact, not all nations are bad. There are good and bad, just seems most players are bad is all or you have had an unfortunate experience iwth them.

Yeah, i cant vouch for all FR players- but the players high enough to take out Kirin, started when everyone else did. THey imported the game when it came out in NA, and started at that time.

for some reason, the relative neewb FR bring sucktitude to new levels.

I gave MAJOR props to a Galka WHM that has the most pimpin of pimp gear. He was with the pt (RDM/BLM BLM/WHM WHM/BLM RNG/WAR PLD/WAR WAR/MNK) from me being a little ways to 26 to me getting to 28.

Had chain 3 and 4. He's on my friend list he kicks so much ass. I was so proud of Galka that day- 2 Astral Rings and 2 Onyx Rings. He had RDM already to level 40 (thats saying a bunch) so had no problem doing much of anything.

But...... the newb FR....... oh its sad. I cry whenever i see a /s convo about some bs that could be in /tell ..... In Jeuno....

Wish... well most newbies suck in general. The only good ones are those that actually listen and absorb what other people tell them and can know the difference between what is right and what is wrong and also those who seek information for themselves.

Welcome! It's okay, now we have the stench of burnt cookies in here! OMG!!! Someone get some feebreeze ( sp? )! hehehe, anyways I think it's good that your making some more cookies. It's a good thing ^^ *takes all the yummy cookies KeiichiYam made and doesn't leave any for anyone else*. I can't really join any other LS as I have to lead my LS and I only have time for them and my own personal stuff I like to do on my own free time. So..............the LS thing...........yeah..............want more cookies? (Obviously is diverting the conversation elsewhere)

Anyways, KeiichiYam there is a TON of ways to make money in the game. I mean it, there is like tons and tons and tons of ways. The only problem is that some are long term investments a GREAT example of this would be the Gobbie Bag quest. It may seem expensive at first but over time it is a great investment. Another great investment includes the guilds, yes tons of people say "Oh this sucks and oh that sucks" but if you stick it out you will find you will be drawing in gil like nothing. Also there are other approaches such as farming, but most find this too tedius and they don't have the patience for it. They would rather go and level up some job rather then farm and that usually kills the PT with their poor gear. Anyways, there is a ton and ton of way. Some I can tell you, others I keep my own little secret ^^ You'll find out one day, and maybe i'll even tell you a few ^^ We'll see....depends how good these cookies are going to be ^^

Sorry, forogt to respond to your post. Well I have a lot of jobs.......I mean a lot of jobs ^^ Well basically all of them har har har *slaps himself silly* Yes I have a few jobs at 10. I also have other jobs as well.......hell I'll just list it here or you could just read my signature ^^ It's easiar for me lol.

I can level with you randomly but static is something I won't do. I like to meet new people despite the chances of meeting people that really suck, but still I like to meet new people and static PT usually kills the chances of me meeting new people so I don't do static PT. However I might sometimes for like 1 or 4 PTs but then I can't catch up with them because I also like to level and do stuff at my own pace. Maybe that seems a little selfish, but the game is for my enjoyment and I find that I would enjoy the game at a pace I set myself and not to a group of people. However, this doesn't mean that you won't find anyone else to static with ^^ There are a ton of hungry people that want to just level to 75.

Also static PTs sometimes kills my equipment. As in I can't find time to go do farming like I should to upgrade my equipment. So all I do would log on, static, and then log off. No time for farming or nothing. Even though I'm a mage I need good equipemnt, and with other players playing the same job as well I need something to "advertise" so other players pick me rather then the other guy ^^

OMG, I just went talking for I don't know how long! Ack! Well I'll leave it at that. Hopefully we'll PT sometime ^^

I'm at 17 RDM and as of today stationed at Selbina tryng to get to lvl18 for my sub! I'm game if you wanna pty. >_< I got invited to a pty wen I was about 800 tnl and before I got to them either the puller got trigger-happy or they got aggro' but when I got there half were healed, the other half was dying and I started curing but as RDM not enough MP like a WHM and with their WHM at pretty much 0 MP the gob killed us all.....:( and now I'm like 2400 tnl....>_< So yeah! I NEED to lvl!!!! :biggrin:

Nah, I got a good LS, There are some high lvl people on there and they helped me outl like my second night on the LS, I became a PLD. And got some help from a real buff RDM. So sweet...

I havent stopped playing since yesterday...started PLD last night and im already lvl 11. Its insane. PLD is so awesome.

I have never used magic before so its kinda cool.....

Well, only a little whack. A Ranger tried popping me off with Barrage, but I had Blink up ^^. Caught him with a nice chain of debuffs, and it was cake. blind came first, then paralyze, then slow.

And i'm suprised how underrated Aquaveil is. OMG that move saved my ass.

I cant wait to LVL 40 cap. there will be more than 8 ppl, and Bastok citizens wont be forced to join opposing side....

Its nuts!! they deal so much damage that i have a hard time keeping hate....lol.

We usually gain about 3 lvls everytime we play..in like 2 hours so its not bad at the 20's range.

LOL i wish it was me. I have the FFXI model viewer, i can make any face or race wear any kind of armor, have any wapon, and do various emotes.

I also dont mind making sigs if it is just for us gilgameshers. So if you would like a request just tell me on the board and ill see what i can do..

But i dont have too many background shots (like the one in my sig) so it would be best if you had a background shot i can copy ure charactor over to.

Yeah, the board has been quiet for a while...I've just been leveling my PLD up and cooking a lot. I got my cookig skill from 0 to 55 in about 2-3 weeks. kinda pricey. and also lvled my PLD to 39, i was about to get 40 so i can start wearing my IM gear, but im home from the air force for christmas...no FFXI :(

Taking a small break from PLD for a while, took my whm from 10 to 25 in like 3 or 4 days. And now i want to take BLM from 17-40 for BCNM purposes. I can make some easy gil. (A Worms Turn).

Hows everything going? I'm on vacation for a couple weeks, so no Gilgamesh action for me. :( But hey, I figure when I return I'll be hungry to lvl my PLD. I always get frustrated, get into a PT for like 3 hrs and get like 5 or 6k XP. Too weak. But I did get my BLM and WHM leveled, Got all the Promyvions done, Lufaise meadows and Tavnzia are cool. Started to try NIN. I want to get it to 37 so I can sub it on PLD for Ballista. Should be fun.

i got extremely lucky yesterday with a japanese party that stayed under my leadership for four hours. then got a new person in the party with a power level. needless to say i got 5 lvls gained in the dunes in 6 hours. then a high level red mage helped me get the magicked skull (last item needed for sub job). and i got out of the dunes lickity split. lvl 9 monk now with the help of a linkshell power level^^ see you in jeuno mann

Well keep posting. I have a PLD lvl 12 (I soloed from 10-12, and it was, believe it or not, FUN! Having capped skills, food and exp rings make low level soloing really quick)

So I'm just gonna be LFGing in Valk until I'm 15, Mule my lvl 15 gear, then plug my way into the 30s. I only plan on yaking PLD (initially) to 37, but I may stick with it for a while, because Taru PLDs = T3h Sexhsee.

Lol, poor guy. Well, you're in luck, cause everything is sight aggro. Now's a good time to practice using the camera rotations, and targetting mobs to see what they are before they see you. Gobs only aggro what's in front of them, so I suggest, waiting for them to stop moving, them running behind them.
