Enabled throwing weapons

Heya, all. Since I heard the announcements we were getting throwing weapons, I was wondering if anyone knew what they were. Any idea if they're be worth it?

Nothing announced about that yet, but I do hope it is done as in FF9, i.e. you can buy special weapons for throwing which do really a lot of damage, as they are influenced only by very few outer factors. Or you can just throw what your have lying around, although there has to be considered that those things will be lost then.

maybe they meant drgs can now use those +dex +acc boomerangs or what not

I believe the text indicated that "several throwing weapons will become usable by dragoons". While this could mean that they are adding new dragoon-specific weapons, it sounds to me more like they are making several existing throwing weapons usable by DRG - but who knows.

I imagine they'll be like, harpoon's and stuff like that.

You know like, Freya threw her spear in FF9. It makes sense..

It could be a reusable or a expendable item.
