craft lvl vs char lvl

Do you have to be a high lvl char to achieve a high lvl in crafting? On EQ you could only farm items up to your lvl, was wondering if theres anything like that in this game. Thanks.

Your crafting lvl and char lvl have absolutely nothing to do with each other. You could essentially be a lvl 1 char with a lvl 60+ craft, provided you have a way of getting your ingredients.
