ok just a short question...

i dont have activated the quest "Borghertz's Chasing Hands" for my rng gloves lv.52, so my question is:

can i still open the Treasure Coffer in Crawler's nest and Davoi and get my AF pieces ? without the quest from Guslam

btw: i asked a gm and he cant anwer the question....

I'm not sure on the specifics, but since it's simple, Go get your AF2 (hat) and gloves quest active, then don't worry about problems with coffers.

i got my AF2 and AF3 is activetd too, but ; ;

i talked to Guslam as a 52drk too and already got a quest from him "Borghertz's Shadowy Hands" -.-

can i still opne the coffer's or do i have to do the drk part first ?

I had the same problem you did. I had my DRG Hands Quest open. You must complete your DRK hands in order to start the RNG Hands Quest. Without that quest those certain coffers you need, Nest, Citadel, and Cavern will only give you Items/Gil.

activate AF2, then activate Borghertz Hands, AF2 does NOT have to be complete :)

our gloves are kinda useless only good to hold monster to keep em from killing ur mages :) and insta pull of course

i cant activate Borghertz Hands cause they are already activated for my drk . . .

so i have to do:

eldieme key > open coffer > kill darkspark and again <- drk part
garlaige key > open coffer > kill darlspark <- rng part


right ?

Actually, no, you don't.

I'm still in the middle of THF AF gloves, and I just got my RNG AF pants yesterday. I have completed RNG AF1 (bow) and AF2 (hat).

I think once you speak to him and he says (paraphrased), "It is rumored that these treasures are hidden in dungeons all over Vana'diel," from that point on you can receive AF from coffers as any qualified job.
