Canine race

Just curious if there might eventually be a canine-like race players could choose from... they have a cat-like race, so i think its only fair. And dont get me wrong i like cats but i'd rather look wolfish.

Well if you're going to add a canine race, why don't we just go over board an add a race of penguin men. A new race would be a disaster, I would think. Most of the people playing FFXI already have developed characters, and they would have to either delete their account or buy a new one and start all over. Besides, what would the dog-like people excel in? Humes are well-balanced, Elvaans make the best attackers, Tarus boast high magic power, Mithras tend to be agile, and the Galkas are the walking meatshield. The only stat left would be Charisma, and I can't imagine a canine race having Charisma as their forte - let alone any type of race being remotely specialized in Charisma. Well, I suppose a fairies race could be good with Charisma, but who'd want to be a fairy anyway?

Moogles are fairy-like, what with the wings, and mysteriousness about them. Plus, I can imagine them excelling in charisma. Everyone *Disclaimer, probably not* loves moogles!

Hey Shadoe, try asking in the "General Gaming" or "Entertainment" forums, which are created for discussions about games other then FFXI and Music and Movies, respectively. And by the way, the "Realy Emotion" song by Koda Kumi is from FFX-2. :thumbsup:
