How long to wear RSE for Elvaan?

I'm nearing that lvl to wear it and would like to know a few things:

1. Which peices would I be wearing as a DRK?

2. At what lvl should I be wearing them?

and

3. At what level do I get rid of them and what armor do I use to take their place?

I know a DRG who still sometimes wears his boots and legs at 50 for the stat boost. I have seen others close to 50 still wearing also. Really it's up you, do you want the stats or the def from higher equipment.

At DRK51, I still wear my RSE hands and legs. In the end it comes out to your play style, and your sub.

I sub THF, so that's why I'm still wearing the RSE hands and legs. DEX+4 from the two pieces. I need that extra DEX for Sneak Attack damage and Sneak Attack weapon skills. (I've done a little research, there is a noticable difference in damage.)

It also gives tad bit of MP, which we all know Elvaans need. After RSE I have 200MP. For me it's plenty to be honest with you. I cast Drain all the time (21MP), Aspir if the mob has it, but it's mainly for farming (10MP). Depending on the mob, I may actually cast an Absorb spell or two. (Usually Absorb-AGI for the party, sometimes Absorb-STR for me.:angel: )

Though, if I sub'd WAR, I'd say I'd have a full set of Lv.49 Mythril +1. Each piece gives INT+1. Which would help with my Drains, and Magic Bursts. (I think more DRKs should Magic Burst renkeis. Maybe it's just my experience, but I don't see many that do.)

The problem for me is, when I start adourning more and more pieces of AF, I lose DEX. I'll probably not wear my AF boots. (MND+5, HP+15, Enhance Arcane Circle) I'll be wearing Lizzy boots soon. (DEX+3, AGI+3 for THF sub)

If you have WAR sub, I'd suggest STR+ and Acc+ gear. Acc+ over STR+ of course. For THF... I've opted for DEX+ gear. I do have a Life Belt (Acc+10) but my Scythe halves that. (Lv.49 Att+25 Acc-5), and I still hit pretty well. My accuracy is far better then it was at Lv.30.

So it's really up to you. I've seen DRK and DRGs wear RSE chest until Lv.45. I wore Centurion chest & head until Lv.40. Iron Musketeer's Armet (VIT+2), and Royal Squires Chainmail (DEX+1).

acctully dex doesnt effect sneak attack when subbed...

After looking at all the peices again and looking at their stats,
should I just go with the whole set? And if so, which would be better? The Royal squires mufflers or the RSE gloves?

If you are subbing WAR, then expect to be a SATA partner at times. The RSE, doesn't do much for you in defense, and you may regret using it.

I equiped the Legs for the DEX +2 for a bit at 40, wasn't worth it IMO.
