I will be a elvaan Blk mage/ Wht mage and I was wondering where should I start????
Bastok;
Windurst or
San doria

I hear spells are less expensive in Windhurst. But you are more likely to find other mages there, and better ones also. If you go San' Doria, you would most likely be one of the few black mages early on. This may lead to you finding more parties. If you start in San' Doria, you would also get the stat boosting ring. Not sure if that would specifically help a black mage though.

mmm elvaan black mage... they look kinda ugly in their robes... but if you dont have anyone to play with, just start where you get the ring cause I think the other rewards are kinda ambiguous...

According to the poll on the front page, a bit more people plan to start in San d'Oria than Windhurst or Bastok.

Does that effect your feelings on where you'd like to start?

people change their minds, and I bet a lot of people just voted for whatever or what most people were voting for.

the best place to start is most likely your home town unless you have someone you want to play with
