Upcoming expansion installation

Does anyone recall what the process is of installing the expansion for the first time?

I'm pretty sure you are required to input your password somewhere in the process, but I'm looking for specific information.

Also, is there any possible way to recover old passwords, account or email? I heard from someone that you can't do so but there has to be some way. I have my account password haven't had my email password for god knows how long.

I seem to remember when I was installing Jiraat, after installation had to go into the contents menu or something and input the serial number/password to activate the expansion. I can't remember if I had to put in the original FFXI password as well, but there was a separate serial number/password for the expansion. Though highly doubtful, I hope they have a new intro CG for Promathia, it was kinda dissapointing when I put in Jiraat and it was the same exact intro CG as the original...

The new expansion disc will come with Jiraad expansion so if you lost Jiraad PW, this will solve the problem. I don't believe that it ask you for the original FFXI ID and PW in istalling expansion.

You only get Zilart if you buy the all-in-one pack. Otherwise it's a separate add-on and does not include the Zilart data.

You do have to enter your POL ID and password when entering the new Content ID for the expansion, I believe. At least that was the case with Zilart. As for recovering your email password, have you tried going through the membership menu in POL support? You can change the password there, but I'm not sure if you need to enter the old one first.

Edit: You need old password to change to new one, just tried.
