New BCNM40 bow

Hey guys, with the patch update with the new 3 man BCNM40s

which do you believe is better

Shikar Bow
lvl 40
54 dmg
540 delay
+4 ranged accuracy
+12 ranged attack

vs

Battle Bow+1
lvl 40
55 dmg
515 delay
+2 ranged accuracy
+15 ranged attack

Battle bow is probably still better unless you're an accuracy whore. But, if you can get the Shikar cheap, it might be a nice toy.

Though i think Elvaan should be using Shikar bow to boost their accuracy, or whoever subs war, though accuracy at that level isn't too much of an issue.

I saw this when I was upgrading to level 40 bows, and there were no Battle Bow +1s at the time. I bid 50k on it, unsuccessfully, so I just waited and got a Battle Bow +1 the next day for 36k.

The way I see it, Shakir bow has longer delay and less damage (on both accounts) for only +2 RNG ACC. Definitely not worth it in my opinion, since it'll probably be at least twice as expensive.

i alos agree that this bow is pretty worthless, i mean there are way more +agi, and + ranged accuracy item then there are + ranged attack items.

i take every advantage to snatch up anything with more ranged attack, maybe because ima mithran, i guess you could play this one by race.

I'd get the Battle Bow becuase I have some +40 acc now and I really dont need anymore >.>. Plus, attack is always good!

Its going for something like 100k which is twice the amount of a battle bow right now so I think I'm gonna stick with the battle bow +1. Dmg is what I'm looking for, not so much rng acc.

Actually, one on Phoenix just sold for 50k (Battle Bow +1 usually goes for 36k - 40k), so I guess people do realize that there's nothing special about the bow, save it's rarity.

I agree only 2 more racc isnt worth the extra delay and less dmg, I dont believe you will notice it in battle.

heh I'll stick with rng/nin on my elvaan and stay with the battle bow +1. Extra 10 r acc. or extra 2. But if the price keeps dropping below the battle bow, then yeah it might be worth a try. Now i just gotta get my elvaan through all these damn warrior lvls so I can test ranger as elvaan instead of taru. ^^

Price is already about even with Battle Bow +1 on Alexander. In fact, Jeuno AH history looked something like

Not exactly but close enough. Personal preference really, they're so similar the difference is negligble.

I anticipate the price will probably evetually go lower than battle bow +1 in a few months depending on how many people get them from the BCNM and the demand. Since it's the consensus for most RNGs that battle bow +1 is better than this bow, not many are going to buy it for more than a battle bow +1.
