Ok I'm a level 32 WAR|15 MNK but going to level my monk for the last time to level 18. So I need a exp party message that you all use to get a party fast. I'm trying to get level 37 for I don't have to worry about my subjob.

List on your messages your weapon skills, info, preferences, and what you want.
Be open and of course keep your flag up.
Face it sometimes things are gonna go like hell for you but as a war people will look to you as a damage dealer and in many cases a tank.
Just keep at it man you will be fine

Above all else, be nice, open-minded and friendly so that people don't remember you as a jerk... and don't say "I can't tank, sorry".

well said ^^
and id like to add that if you have to leave a pt make sure you tell them when your leaveing like an hour earlier. i hate it when people leave outta nowhere without a viable excuse.
And if somebody pisses you off just remember them adn write then off as someone not to pt with. DOnt get angry and start shouting that so and sxo is a bad player

and above all else dont take shit from nobody....

make your own parties. easiest way to get in a pt.

if you don't want to do that, play a class that's wanted in pts.

LVL JOB/SUB
xxx tnl | def xxx OR attk xxx
weapons, well equipped (if you really are)

The idea is to provide the essentials, and at the same time, make it short and sweet. If as a mnk, you can be a defensive tank, list both your defensive potential using defense food, and also you can alternatively list your attack rating with offensive food. This helps those of us who are PT member shopping understand your potential.

I'm also glad you realize the value of keeping your sub at least half your main job level. I can't count how many people lost a PT opportunity because of an under-leveled sub. The problem with underleveled subs is where you get into a PT where you are starting a fresh area that starts off a little more difficult, and you need everyone to be the best they can be so that the XP'ing goes more smoothly.

As the last person suggested, you might want to try and form your own PTs. I usually seek until I see that it looks like there is enough of the right jobs to form a PT that works.

Do a /sea all inv xx-xx

x's represent the level range for your PT search. I usually try to search +/- 1 level from myself in general, but it really depends on your TNL and who is on the list when it comes to putting together a PT that works.

Good luck :)
