Anyone know how to get the new lvl 60 lance and the other new lances post 60, and those new throwing items we can equip (the one that gives acc+1 and the drg specific one thats breath damage-3% or something)? thanks!

I heard about a lv50 trowing item that gives +1 acc. Called Optical Needle, or something like that. Haven't seen it though.

Well I just bought the new lvl 60 lance, 82 damage, 550 delat str+2 vit+4 i believe. I'll see how it stack sup to G.K.

550 delay, ewww. And what good will +4 vit do? Why do they keep giving DRG +vit?

cus SE still thinks drg deals enough dmg to draw agro and get smacked a few times around

The delay hurts yea, but according to the damage forumal, the damage on that weapon raises the base damage multiplier, so it should be good. What might hurt more is the 7 acc hit ><

I still think that you should be able to put that VIT into work by using it to use Lancet to deal the enemy damage. Sorta like similar to what MNK has with Chakra. Easy to implement that could make a DRG better off later...

But, that's just my idea. Carry on with your conversation...;)

Lancet could equal like 3/4 a voke aggro wise, and 3/4 of Chakra's damage.

Uh, Chakra doesn't do damage but heals oneself. The amount of HP restored is based on the total amount of VIT x2.

If Lancet was implimented, I believe that it should be the same. Amount of damage that an enemy recieve should be based on the total amount of VIT x2, and you'll recieve that much HP back as well. Of course the AF gear can help increase the amount you deal...(From VIT x2 to VIT x3)

Or maybe they could do something neat like increase the frequency/accuracy of jumps. Or put in more jumps. Jumpy jump jumps. Then they could make a set of armor that's relatively cheap to make and has acc/atk/dex/str and DRG usable. Then give us a giant harpoon gun! So we like stick with the whole "Dammit dragoons can only be good with pointy sticks" idea.

...DRG's could always throw Javelins...:(

Perhaps a passive ability like Double Attack, only it turns some attacks into jumplike attacks. I think it would be awesome to see a DRG jam its spear into the ground, using it like a polevault, and sommersault into the air to land on the enemy spear first. Sweeeeeet.

Lahfiel, DRG will benefit from attack and accuracy bonuses FAR more than dexterity and strength.

Yes, but they would benefit from all of them at the same time even more! :D

On closer inspection, it seems the new throwing items (optical needle) are EX, so i have abosulty no idea where they come from.

Me neither. I'm thinking either new recipe or new item from BCNM. The last is most likely, but the reason I state the first one is just because the same person put the optical needle and the breath damage thing up and is trying to get 1 mil for them.

No way am I spending 1 million for +1 accuracy in my range. :(

So they arent ex then? Mysterytour has them as ex i think.. in any case, its not like we can put anything else there except those stupid eggs and some mp boosting items, hooray! And it seems like just about all the new stuff is bcnm/garrison drops including the all jobs shields :D

Here's the info from Mystery Tour

Optical Needle
Accuracy+1
Qu'Bia Arena (Comet Orb)

Kakanpu
Attack+2
Breath damage taken -2%
Qu'Bia Arena (Comet Orb)

Both are EX for lvl 50 w/ 21 dmg. Interestingly enough, the second one is listed as DRG only.

I'm curious where people are getting the idea that these are EX, since Mysterytour has a yellow dot, not a green dot by the name... >.> (yellow = rare, green = ex...) And it's listed with yellow dots in both the equipment and BCNM list.

Anyway, I would be curious to hear strategies / experiences from this BCNM, as I would love to get one of those myself... atk +2 > HP +1% ^_^
