Dagger and Sword

What do you guys use? D:

Both skill are almost at the same amount and I need to chose one. Either I go with Dagger and finish doing the WS quest or keep skilling up Sword and try to get something decent.

I'm really confused. Reason is because Dagger dmg totally suck.. The damage is low but the accuracy is better, its also where the content is going, Sword is a deadend for BRD really... Theres also the Eviseration WS which is probably the best WS we can access. With Sword, all I can use is Spirit Within.. which deal a big 160 dmg at best D:

I keep hearing that Eviseration is total crap but it can't be that bad.. I mean compared to Spirit Within.. =P What do you guys suggest? Im looking for some advice from other lv75 Bards who have been here done that.

I'm not a 75 BRD, but I would suggest going with dagger and then raising sword later I suppose. I carry both but my dagger skill is capped while I'm not so worried about sword. Evisceration doesn't suck, it isn't amazing but it beats the hell out of Cyclone (which I've used for how many levels now...)

As for daggers you can also get some with helpful stats such as the Kard or the Misericorde (Spelling? I play on JP version). Swords don't seem to improve stats quite like daggers do.

I already maxed sword because it maxes out at 218 or 220, i forget. Having a joyeuse makes up for the low sword rating but dagger would be the best since we can go 250 and have Evisceration. 160dmg is only from 100% TP but it can go up to 440dmg with 300% TP. (Spirits Within)

I doubt 300% TP with Evisceration will give you 440 damage with a dagger although the WS does look nice :thumbsup:

And if you somehow manage to get yourself a fully upgraded relic weapon, the variety we can use is the dagger Mandau. (Though I think it goes without saying that you should prioritize the fully upgraded relic horn above it.)
