FF11 alarm clock

Has anybody seen this: the official FF11 alarm clock (http://www.hori.ne.jp/ffxi_vdck/index.html) . It keeps time simultaneously in Vana'diel time and Earth time. (If you were into the latter.) It even tracks the moon phase and can use the four national anthems as an alarm ringer. It goes on sale June 24th in Japan. So check your local import shop.

Jesus, no doubt in my mind I AM buying one of those. I don't even know if it will be that useful, I just like collecting cool things like that.

Thats the one mentioned in stans thread about NMs that can apparently time the spawns.... And If you look at playstation.com they have it up there, and when converted it comes out to about $45. Not too bad.

Based on currency rates as of today, Tuesday June 08, 2003, that clock will cost you close to $45 and comes out June 24th this year.

Would costs for importing it be a lot? I've never imported anything yet, so I just wanted to know.

Everytime I've imported something, the price was extremely inflated. Take for instance Gundam Wing models. The really cool ones are like almost a hundred bucks. I've seen them go for $150-$200 when imported. I guess it all varies from which store you order from but usually expect at least a 150% markup on imported items.

I dont think there's a real good use for it, but I would get it for decor.

Yea if you check playstation.com, they have it on the japense portion, but not the NA, so it will in all likelyhood not be available in NA besides import

Probably won't come out in the US, just like all the other FF paraphaneilia, and for something simple like the this the markup won't be much...I'd say it will be $60 us max if you get it from ncsx.com or something...
