lu-shang is approx. 1.5mil on my server;
and i think around 1~2 wks of farming/nm/mining/etc. can get me around that amt.

so, my question is:
with my wood-working & alchemy skill at appropriate level, will i be able to use the lu-shangs to level my fishing from 1-99?
cus, if so, i think it will be worth the farming.

It will be very nice when lving fishing because you will not get the "too small" message, and the rod doesn't break in most areas. Also, you only need woodworking (mid 70s) to begin fixing the rod.

One last thing, I envy you, lu shangs are 2.5-3.5million on asura =\

it takes skill 73 woodworking to fix the lu rod

yes, you can use lu rod to lvl from 1-100

You'll probably find that if someone is selling a LuShang rod, its probably very close to 833*(cost of a stack of moat carp). I don't think I've ever seen one sold on Leviathan.

Because if you're highe level fishing and you break it on the boat or something you can fix it instead of having to stop all your fishing for the day and trek over to rabao to get it fixed. That's why when you're on the boat you see all the fisherman synth Lu Shang's rod and get it fixed. Its only one light crystal per break so its pretty cheap considering all the fish they pull up.
