-Back Story-
Early ,when I was still playing FFXI, I had always assumed that Theifs were one of the best jobs just for their great passive and active skills. The skill alone to be able to run faster is not only a good save skill walking without a chocobo gets to be a pain.
Unfortunitly, I started in bastok, a War town to say the least. So I was kinda forced into a War job. I worked my way up to lvl 30 and then quickly got my Pld job to become the ultimate tank. Of course this job has it perks but getting the same skills as a whm at higher lvls never turned me on. I really wished they had given Adv jobs more of their own skills that only they have (besides holy).
Anyways, I quit because of the insane amount of repetition I was growing to hate in FFXI. Working my life away to get to a lvl where I could get an Adv job just to have to go back to the same areas and do it all over again so I could have the power of my last job in this one.
-THF / NIN-
So, now ive felt the urge to rejoin because of friends so I wanted to ask about the THF/NIN job. It always seemed like the ultimate job. From what I can tell I should be dodging most of the attacks come at me and ripping the best benefits of it while sneaking around enemys without being arggoed all that time by some monster you didnt even see.
Am I wrong in thinking this job is the super Master job?
Any Opinions of your own against what I was going for and changing drastically to the other side of the spectrum job wise?
Also an off question-
When I was talking to tech support about starting back up and trying to retrieve the char I had lost to the 3 month period it sounded like theyd rebuild my character off what I could remember of him instead of what he was trying to convince me of that they had moved mine and everyone elses who went over the 3 month lost period to a storage system kinda space that they could just retreive him from.
Which one of those is really true?
They rebuild the character from what I can remember
Or
Find my character amongst the thousands of people who lost there character in a storage space and find him just from the details I tell them?
