hey,
im a level 1 going on 2 chef and have only really been making carrot broth (which im finding doesnt sell at the ah), boiled eggs (that i divulge in every once in awhile), and roasted corn (that i dont touch at all) i havent sold any of my food yet, and im wondering if theres any way to make profit at all off cooking in the lower levels or is it a good idea just to eat what you make yourself, any suggestions?

thanks:)

i found that carrot broth is good to start with.. you will not make much of a profit <if any> from starting a craft, but you can save some money for later :p like go outside sandy and kill hares like its going out of style.. get a buttload of meat.
boom! ;) got some grilled hare meat to sell or eat even

You can make a small profit off pet food in the 20's and 30's, and a handful of other recipies (maybe 1-200 a stack for mithkabobs at 40, etc) but the reality is you will be lucky to break even most of the time until you can make HQ items (chiefkabobs, steamed crab, witchkabobs etc.). In fact you will lose money for most of the items that will skill you up.

That said compared to other skills cooking is a very cheap skill to skill up. I spent about 150-200k to get cooking to L60, and I've spent over 200k just getting weaving to 37.

yeah thank you, i was just making sure i wasnt wasting my money, ingredients and crystals making things i cant really use when i could be making something else and actually making a little money. i will continue to level my cooking. ive only spent about 3k so far plus crystals
