The price of Shuriken there goes down as stock builds up. Just watch for it to drop down to about 43-46gil per and you can buy approximately 150 shuriken. Then the price will jump back up to 80ish.

I always check the Tendosho shop for shuriken cause when you catch the stock at full, it's nearly half the price of the ones on the AH (8-9k on Leviathan).

Waiting like this may not work for you if Ninja is your Main job, it's a subjob for me (at the moment) so I just wait and when I have 2 or 3 stacks, I'll take a day and level Ninja a bit. (31 Ninja atm)

Shuriken work very nicely as additional hate, so much so that I always toss a shuriken after a 'voke and one more around the 15 second mark. It's expensive, but I keep getting comments of "Wow you're doing great at holding agro" Which to me is worth the cost of shuriken. :thumbsup:

Ah... I didn't know that it's based on supply. I thought S-E just adjusted the price. It's always around 70gil each whenever I check the shop.

AT lvl 24 the first reusable throwing weapon becomes available, so does the emperors hairpin and the Nomads mantle :D . Level 24 is a good time for ninja :D

The name of the throwing weapon is Wingedge, its droped off a NM in buburimu peninsula, helldiver, or youmight be lucky and find it in the AH. Im using this at the moment to lvl my throwing, i got to lvl 59, yay, in a few days.

How to raise your throwing skill?

At 24, get a windedge, then head to Korroloka tunnel. Pretend you are a ranger, and skill up on worms. If your skill is even below 45 or so, head to Shakrami first, same deal... worms. Then Korroloka. You can easily max your skill at 25 here with a little bit of care (stonega = evil)

The next worms you COULD use are Qufim worms, but the competition here will make it harder.

Also, for the 55+ crowd.... you can get throwing up to 190ish on Kuftal tunnel worms. Sneak and silence highly recommended from a sub. Perfect sub would be rdm or whm.

lv28 would be a lot easier to level throwing. Your can /WHM to silence those pesky worms. :)

Eh? Level 7 Darts from Vendors. 1k a stack roughly
I raised throwing from 0-83 with a few stacks and in 1 day.. Fast throw rate and not high damage so you can spam them on a mob while wielding two Archer's Knifes.

Now I carry a stack of em to spam when I level up just for skill ups.. and use shuriken for provoke damage
