ok if u just have a link to these answers instead of typing them then that is fine.

1. What were all the new things that happened in the update.

2. This is about rise of the zilart expansion pack. i have ps2 and i was wondering like after i reach a certain level or something does the game automatically switch over to rise of the zilart or will like a new icon appear on the pol viewer that i have to click on. Or r both ffxi and rotz just combined with each other because i looked at my current missions once and i saw that there was a rotz mission called "the new frontier" and its defitinition was "what new adventerures await you in the out lands (and some other place i think).

sorry if the second question is confusing.

1. Check out the developer are just before you start FFXI from your POL browser.

edit : or see it here : http://www.playonline.com/comnewsus/200404226037.html

2. Don't nkow about the PS2 but on the PC you installed Rise of Zilart before playing and registerd the ID for it when you started. Its not like, you've finished this part now play the expansion, the mix together so I'd assume the PS2 would do something similar.

Yeah, you need to go to where it says "Content IDs" on the FFXI page, then go to Expanded Services and register it for expanded services using the Rise of Zilart code you get. (I've done it on both PC and PS2; the proccess is pretty much the same. Cept for the fact that the PS2 already has the game completely installed)

ROTZ isnt like a separate program or anything. You do have to register the content ID separately, but thats it. It's just areas and missions and items that are a part of FFXI as a whole. You dont access it from a different menu or anything, its just there giving the game more "filling". Like a big software twinkie that gets a filling upgrade

I think i answered you question, if you registered the content id separately, then you got the expansion pack going already. Have fun.
