Jumper Suit or Plate Metal Badass

As a Taru DRK around level 40, I was really curious what people would recommend as armor. Of course I've read Awntawn's guide and have noted that generally, the IM and SanDorian gear are best, and I've purchased these. On the flip side, as a Taru, I have access to what I would think is a very solid RSE for DRK. Statwise (helm not counted because it would be included in either):

/Obviously/ the latter has a /lot/ more defense, but I have to question whether this is advantageous over all the benefits from the RSE, namely, the STR and HP. Any thoughts?

go with the sandorian CP armor, and the IM stuff.

you're already weak enough as a taru dark, your RSE will only detrament you further.

Why do so many go with I.M. helm? I saw a drk yesterday who'd bought I.M. helm but gone with the cheap armor instead of Royal Squire!

Centurion helm has +1dex... Drk gain no offensive benefit from +2vit on I.M...

IM looks badass, thats why.

but you will get bored of it by lvl 53-54~ and you'll desperately want your AF

heh I had IM gear than got bored of it and use mythril till AF.. didnt care that much because I didnt want to put down the 120k for RK armor. But if you are that worried about it get the RK armor.

Just make sure you get Barbarian Scythe, especially as Taru Drk.. you will love that Barb. scythe. I actually used Bone scythe near the end of lvl 57 just to see how it compared to Barb scythe. and to be honest it really doesn't even compare to Barb scythe. Barb scythe gives large amount of damage boost.

I may get soem lvl 62 RSE2 Gloves becuase of the +65 HP and +6 Str. Would be very useful. But in future I would prefer using Pallas/Alkonyious Bracelets. Royal Gaurd Collar at 55 is also worth it.
