ok i need help very badly. i have the dsl thingy. when i use on the play online disk to connect to internet it says no cord check all this stuff. i used the phone line for it it didnt work and i dont got a modem for it i use dsl the one with the 3 lights that must all be green for you to get on inter net please help me now.:eek:



o and im 10 so i dont know how to do this what do i need to get to play this plz help me out

Firewall or router issue, perhaps. Play with the settings a bit?

ok now i got error 1039 the cables are not in porperly i got my z wire cord in with a phone cord f you gfot dsl broad banded help me plz!!!!!!!

Can you draw us a picture of how your stuff is hooked up and attach it to your post?

Do you use a router?

if not, are you just unplugging it from the back of your PC and plugging it into your PS2?

if so,
Did you configure you connection settings for PPPOE?

Possibly stating the obvious, but could you get a parent or adult to help you with it? Following the instructions in the manual should make it easy for anyone to install it.

i did they dont know anything :*( and i doont got any router i lkooked at the guild ands saw a modem i didnt get one from dsl thingy

Im not sure exactly but try this.

1. Run the phone line from the wall to your DSL modem

2. Run the Ethernet connection. The one that looks like a BIG phone cord plug in and run from your DSL modem to your PS2 network adaptor

3. Run the Playonline set up again, and just start a fresh new connection configuration.

If you can give us any other hints as far as how exactly your set up is like right now, it will help. But no worries, one way or another someone here will get you going dude! Hang in there.
