A little problem with the flag quest

Ok, so i go to palborough mines and take the boat and get the cutesecene right? well i had full inv and didnt realize so i couldnt obtain the sword.. my question is as i supposed to just go back and do it over? will it give me the scene again? thnx for all replys in advanced

Yes. if you go back, you will get your sword again ^^;;
