Help me , pol is playing up

Hi-

Recently when i start POL i get a box come saying "preparing for install" as though its starting again , it finish's and starts again about 6 times then POL loads as normal , if i canacle it all 6 times POL loads as normal .

I did the file check on 3 pieces ( POL , FFXI , TM ) and nothing was wrong . i decided to uninstall POL but at 58% it says "Error Cleanup.DLL not found" then it ends and says POL uninstallation complete" but nothing has changed and its all still there.

Can anyone help me ?

All I can suggest is deleteing the entire POL + FFXI directories from your computer via Explorer. For me they live in the Program Files dierctory.

Once you have trashed all the files remove the program via the control pannel (should say no files to delete or some similar error message) and try installing it again.

Not sure why your system had a missing file though. Don't run any other applications whilst installing FFXI and make sure you don't get teh CD's mixed up. The installation order I always use is POL->FFXI->Rise Of Zilart Expansion Pack.
