Hey all, I'm quickly approaching lv 40 of my PLD, and I was simply wondering what equip the 40+ plds on this board wear or have worn. I'm currently wearing Silver Mail armor, w/ a pair of Drone Earrings and a pair of Stamina Rings. I was wondering whether I should go w/ Ryl.Sqr. Gear, or the other lvl 40 armor (I can't remember the name of it ; ; ). Also, am I okay wearing the Stamina rings? I mean, I'd be willing to splurge on some High-Quality +3 Vit rings.

Either lvl 40 plate body and legs, or lvl 40 san doiran cp armor.
Warrior belt+1, agi+3 earrings, vit+2 rings, Hunter sword
lvl 42- AF1 weapon
lvl 43- Heater Shield
lvl 45- Brigandine
lvl 46 Breeches (Maybe Banded Mail)
lvl 48- Lifebelt
lvl 49 - (Maybe mythril body and legs)
lvl 50- I.M. body and legs, Tactical magician espadon, lvl 50 san dorian shield, phalanx rings

I bought the I.M. armet and the rest I bought the Breastplate set...it looks cooler and it was cheap. Here's a pic.

I'd say so. +2 VIT, +2 DEX, same DEF as a Breastplate. And it's not all that expensive.

i didnt go for IM boots and gloves at 40 i stuck with RSE and saved up for lvl 50 Ryl muffler and leggings. Reason for that is because of the ranged accuracy which i dont need as a pld + i knew i was going to do Rank 5-1 so lvl cap is 50;) I know you might think pld needs always updated gear but i managed just fine the duration of lvl 40's.Once at lvl 50 everything must be up to date IMHO

Hunting Sword - lvl 34 - 15-17k
Drone - 14k each - lvl 35
Sphene - 4-5k each - lvl 36

Breastplate 8-9k
Cuisses 2-4k
I.M. Hands 17-18k
I.M. Head 13-14k
I.M. Feet 10-12k

you'll get some of that back when you sell silver and centurion armor.

lvl 40 I say go with Royal Squire body and leg armor... its a little more money but has at least some Stat bonus over the bonusless breastplate...at 45 you CAN get brigandine, but with Royal Squire I dont think it matters that much... I personally did, but I dont think it made a world of difference really.

then lvl 50 IM set, and slowly switching to AF, at 55 Royal knight body and legs.... and finally full AF at 60...

the other Royal Knight pieces (gloves,boots and helmet) I find quite useless, since they arent much better than IM and you use for VERY few lvls... so not worth imo

Rings I will use Phalanx x2 until 72 probably which is when I can switch to topaz, I might get the version b4 topaz but only if im taking too much damage... Belt I currently use RK belt, but plan on getting life belt with Vorpal Blade... Neck gear I use Promise Badge, because I like the MP and MND bonus, since im elvaan the MP bonus help a lot. Earrings I still use Wing Earrings (I know, should change to Drone ~.~) but I always put it back on the priority list.

Also in my wish list is Royal Guard shiled, and Gluttony sword... and I plan on keeping it until my wonderful Hrotti ^_^. and as far as shields im not sure... but the final one is the Koeining(sp) Shiled. and finally Earth Staff for HNMs

But really, you should go out and look yourself what items you think suit you best, especially the accessories (rings earrings belt and necklace), and get what you think will help you the most.
