lvling Gsword from 64-66

so after getting 60 and guillotine... nearly all the xp PTs I've been in request that I use scythe... it's always guillotine for keeping hate or doing SC.. I've been trying to keep my Gsword capped as well by going on coffer key hunts with my LS... but right now, it's at 214 and it's going up VERY slowly on the coffer mobs... (in davoi and beaudeux.. haven't tried other location's coffer mobs yet) I don't think I can lvl my Gsword off them after I get to 64....

so I'm curious if there's anyway to lvl it outside of xp PT after you stop gaining skill from coffer key mobs? do you guys join higher lvl skillup PTs? I don't really want to use greatsword before I get spinning slash in xp PTs.. 'coz I feel that I'm somehow slowing down the xp for the others... any suggestions?

They key is to join a static party. In those, most won't have a problem with you whipping out the great sword for only as long as it takes to cap it.

Because if you have a THF in the party, you probably still get asked to use vorpal scythe/powerslash > dancing edge anyway (or sicklemoon > dancing edge for detonation).

Also, if you have DRG in the party, you can do Skewer > sicklemoon for distortion.

other wise, just do more coffer party

heres the guide i follow, it seems to work well.

110-130: CN
130-155: Genaki 1 Liches
155-200: Coffer key Mobs
200+ : Castle Oztroja Top floor then Light elementals in Tulia(sp?)
