Hello,
For your weapon levels (Ie. The skill level of your weapon.), are the points gained from it based on the monsters' level you fight with it,
or based on -your character's- level?
(For example, say at level 60 you can level your staff up to 80 (From 1) or so from Worker Crawlers. (This is just an example, don't know if that's actually true.) But if you wait until level 75, you have to fight higher leveled monsters to gain any skill.)

Just wondering, thanks.

No, character level has nothing to do with anything, except that you'll hit more frequently on monsters XX levels below you. But you still have to fight the same grade enemy to skill up to a certain level.

Your base skill VS. monster DEF and Evasion. Just check how they con. If they have high defense, high evasion, they will give good skill up.

Weapon lvl gains depends on:
1. Enemy's lvl you are fighting on
2. The weapon is A,B,C or D on your job
3. Are you able to hit the enemy?XDDD

For example,
A lvl 33 enemy.
At lvl 33(your char), you can get 102 for A weapon, 97 for B weapon.

Therefore, you can lvl your weapon lvl to 102 for A weapon, or 97 for B weapon if you fight on the enemy's lvl that is 33.

So, if the enemy is lvl 34, then you can skill up to 105 for A, 100 for B and etc.

Your char's lvl will only effect on the max skill weapon lvl you can get. While the enemy's lvl will determine whether you can skill up with your current weapon lvl or not.
