Clearing up Egg Confusion

I have figured out some few things about the easter egg, and will explain what I know. But, I hope others can explain the rest.

- The first combo, asked for is the first three letters of your name, so if my name is Robert, I need R, O, B. Your reward for this is a chocobo ticket, which allows you one free ride on a bird. Its value at the most is only $900. So don't waste $3000 buying eggs to get one. I've seen a 12 stack of chocobo tickets sell for onlt $1000 at the Auction house.

- The second combo I found is 7 of a kind. This combo is simply seven letters that are the same. So 7 'N's or 7 'O's is would be the idea. Your reward is a Lucky Egg, which is a throwing weapon. The weapon its self is not that great and is not worth $7000 in eggs, to get one. The stats for the weapon are listed below.

Lv. 1 All Jobs

As you can see its more for the fun of having it, then actually using it for battle. My advice just pay someone $1000 for one, if your really dieing to get one (I will admit I bought one for myself). And save your self the other $6000.

- As for the other combos or rewards I have yet to find out what they are and what they do.

- I believe one combo is the either all or the first eight letters in your name.

- Also I believe one reward is some type of candy, which I've seen being sold for $40,000. As to why its has such a value, I have yet to learn what benfit it gives its user. If you find out anything I would be happy to hear from you.

*Update* Initial Straight combo

The Initial Straight 8 combo is the first letter in your name, followed by the letters after it in the alphabet. If your name is ‘Robert’ the first letter needed is ‘R’ followed by ‘S’, ‘T’, ‘U’, ‘V’, ‘W’, ‘X’, ‘Y’. I believe but don’t know if I right on this, but if your name starts with a ‘Z’ you would go ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘E’, ‘F’, ‘G’. If someone can clear this up it what be most welcomed. As I have yet to learn the reward for this, but should have it available soon, unless someone can provide it sooner.

I got a purple candy drop (or something named similar to that) for the first three letters of my name.

i got a black drop,..used it and it sent me to my HP..then i couldnt consume anything kinda like food or drink. but it lasted for awhile dunno what else it did for me tho other than the warp to HP...but thats what black drop did.

In my personal opinion, I think that the whole egg issue is really stupid. Users charge thousands for a mere "s" egg wich I think is a waste of time. But one question that I do have is are they always going to do weird things close to holidays like the egg quest thingy?:confused:

the black drop is like a scroll of Warp(the CP item)..one of the most valuable of the drops methinks... i got a red drop, which boosts STR +5 for a short period of time...not worth it >_<

but what i am wondering is how Canadianmonster BROUGHT an Rare/Ex item ~_^
