How would someone become a GM? Do you have to be on the FF XI team? can you be hired or what? is it a job? do you get paid? does anyone know any of this? I would contact them, buit I don't know where to get the e-mail address for those kinda questions.

Wait... you want the job of game-mastering for one of the largest multiplayer roleplaying games in the world, and you can't be bothered to find out your own answers?

This does not bode well for your future career. Problem solving ability starts at home, my friend.

Okay, I came here to ask some questions, not to get bitched at, thanks for your help.

Can you say that again?

Oh and your leveled headed wow you have my vote...

That makes no sense.

I just met a GM today, they are very strict, I got in trouble for barely spamming '/clap' by the moogle in windurst woods, people think GMs don't give a shit, but I asure you, they do. He sent me to a deserted room for about 10 mins, then came to the room himself, He was the Senior Game Master, he told me that it was a warning and if I spam again there will be a suspention placed on my account.

look being a GM ....like being a moderator on these forums or an Admin requires people skills....

what you said in your second post shows that you don't have that.

Oh and neighbortaru didn't see you I go to Qufim to think and save the low levels...I was thinking about quitting actually because some of the members of my group got into a fight but all better now ^^.

Haha, you are a very imature person trying to look smart, sorry, but I am a computer tech, I do hosecalls most the time, I have plenty of "People skills". Like I said, I came here to ask some questions, not to get bitched at, so, I will go find people with "People skills" like myself, that are willing to help me, unlike you, becasue what you just said in your last post shows that you do not have "People skills" youself. So, I am gone, nice site tough.. shitty people. cyall' around.

Oh yes, I am also the admin of a new counter-strike clan, and I volunteer a lot at my grandmothers old folks home, do dishes, clean, deliver food to the residents, etc..

 I think you just proved my point. Have fun and good luck, but I don't think you will get far with that attitude....not just being a GM but with anything lol.

You never made a point to prove. And you just made yourself look kinda dumb, I am a profesional computer technician, you say I am not going to get far with anything? How old are you? 13? 14?

I have a good attitude, just not toward people like yourself, unknind, not helpful, rude, you tell me I don't have good people skills? why don't you take a good look in the mirror.

That's people skills? If you had the qualifications to be a GM then you would have closed this post a LONG time ago. Being a computer technician doesn't have ANYTHING to do with people skills, now try being a Doctor, Nurse, or work in public relations. You go and fix a computer. I bet you most of the time you don't even see the person while you're in the room fixing their PC. Wow, for someone asking if someone else is 13, 14; that sure is a childish attitude.

I highly doubt that they'd even consider hiring you, first off i believe that you have to actually work for square enix and live somewhere close to their headquarters since any professional GM work is not done out of the home, it is a job...but one that you have very little if any chance of getting unless you meet the two requirment i mentioned. Not to mention you don't handle your critics very well :p
