CP points after rank 6

Ok, a quick check on what everyone is doing with their CP point after rank6.

Got 60+K of CP points left over after leveling all my subs (WAR/THF/SAM/WHM) past level 30. Now I noticed after the RK set, there isn't really any thing particularly good for DRK (or did I miss something?)

I do use CP go buy scroll of instant warp, but you don't need 60K of CP for that. :biggrin:

So here is what I'm thinking, if there is nothing more that we DRK wants from the CP items, should I turn the CP into money? For example, there is that lightning bow that I want, selling for 250K. I could sell 2 pieces of RK set and come up with that money without any extra farming needed, or just save that money up towards the Hauberk that I want to buy eventually.

Anyone doing anything with their CP point post Lv 60? Just want to make sure so I don't regret doing it.

65 sando neck. 7def 5atk 5acc = 40k CPs.

65 bastok hairpin is pretty damn amazing for farming, as well.

only works when you are outside your nation's control, useless when you are in it. And it's only +1 better than the regular royal knights collar that I'm wearing which is good 100% every where I go. Just doesn't seem to be worth it.

As for the hairpin, doesn't look useful either. Drain/Aspir already means I farm without any down time. Again, it doesn't work if the area is under your nation's control, restricting it's usefulness.

i think after rank 6, CP = gil for drks. i'm from windy, so it's pretty much been that way since rank 4. although, if i ever go rng, that patriarch arrow looks pretty [hot shot].

i don't see anything really worthwhile in terms of CP items. all the rank7+ items seem pretty mediocre compared to their available alternatives.

You can use it to ge the Reserve Captain Greatsword. It's better than zweihander. You can use that until you can get your hands on something better. Maybe it is just midgard, but the other "high-end" Greatswords aren't relatively available.

its the CP required for the reserve captain's greatsword isn't worth it IMO. on my server, that sword is only 300k.

It might seem a lot, but it will come out the same. Infact, you probably will save. 24k cp gets you about 120-140k. The greatsword cost 48k cp. And there's only so many Dragoons out there for the lance...

ya i know the amount its worth is about right, but i mean, its a lot easier to acquire 300k than it is to acquire that amount of CP >.< what you would use that CP for anyways though i have no idea...i tend to buy a lot of warp scrolls cuz im lazy.

Understood. But that's the discussion here though =p. What to do with so much CP (using it for yourself/selling it).

You can spend the CP later for equips when you level up another job. Warp scrolls are always nice.

Otherwise, a lot of that high level gear is somewhat lacking in desireability, so I just say sell the mid level stuff if you have a lot of CP.
